Woodend Children’s Centre (WCC) is a Department for Education preschool site. We are located in Sheidow Park, adjacent to Woodend Primary School and offer both preschool and occasional care programs Monday – Friday during the South Australian school terms.

We provide a safe, caring and enriching environment which is accessible, inclusive and reflects the interests and needs of individual children, their families and the wider community.

Our play based learning program is based on Belonging, Being and Becoming, The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia

Positive learning outcomes for children are achieved through rich learning experiences which extend upon children’s knowledge, skills, interests and abilities.

Woodend Children’s Centre is a full time site providing 15 hours of preschool per week to our Koala and Kookaburra groups and sessional occasional care.
